not that I like to correct you r2, but it was actually two years ago (very good one line summary of the past two years, though).
jezz, time is passing by faster and faster theses days for me.
Nevertheless there is some thruth in your mistake, because one year ago marked the start of a time span were I was rarely online, I simply didn't had the time (learning matter is presented approximately three times faster then in grammar school) and I got a nasty cold, afterwards I got tinnitus (still present with approximately 60 dB; today I am accustomised to it). And then there was a permanent hdd defragmentation.
In this time frame I eventually lost interest in online multiplayer games.
However, I enjoyed the LAN I attended last week (all 12 people were former hardcore gamers, but left mp games behind some time ago; we played the demo of ut2004 roughly 5 hours and cs1.6 4 hours).

Threee weeks ago I fulfilled the "task" to replace all commercial software with FreeOpenSourceSoftware ( just in case you do not know what I am talking about, see here or here ). Currently I am in the process of replacing Windows OS, I just don't know where to start with FOSS OSs. They all say that there distribution is the greatest among them all, I guess I will stick to the distribution that is the most foolproof in terms of navigation(= using it) and installation.
In retrospective it all started with the search for a replacement for Milkshape3D (GMax and SoftimageXSI didn't fit my needs because of the EULA and GUI), I tested a lot of programs but sticked to Wings3D somehow, but Wings3D does not support bones/animation in any way, so I am using Blender now.

Thank you to all fellas ^_^ and sorry for not congratulate at your bds Sad

I wonder if I should have added "I played Oni, Etherlords, and Sacrifice in my spare-time."
Anyway, I check my E-mail nearly once each day and from time to time I am online with ICQ, nowadays I hang out on #blender.de #blender #blenderchat #blenderqa irc.freenode.net (sometimes even #python on the same server)
